I wanted to feel more confident since I had a tendency to think too much about what other people thought and I easily lost myself. There were always so many thoughts and I didn’t know how to organize them.
Once a week I took Alexander lessons with Gonnie. It was hard, I had a very bad posture habit. But gradually something started changing. I think because AT helped me to notice my habits as not only physical but also mental. I started feeling more confident and it was amazing that the simple AT practice influenced my mind so positively .
I cannot say that my habits have disappeared. But at least now, I can see them and do something about it. For me, this is a big difference compared to before.
When I perform, for example, I start worrying too much. This is still my habit. But now, while performing I say to myself “stop!” Then I go on. So far it’s working well!!
